Why Did Katy Perry Write The Song Rise?

Why Did Katy Perry Write The Song Rise?

Based on my understanding of the lyrics of the song. I also got the answer to why this song was made.

This is my own opinion, so if there is an error related to writing I apologize and I certainly accept advice from you all raders.

1.      The purpose of making Rise-Katy Perry's song
The song was created to be NBC's anthem during the network's coverage of the 2016 Rio Olympics. Perry alludes to how the fortitude of Olympic athletes unite the world during the sporting event: "I know that together we can rise above the fear – in our country, and around the world. I can't think of a better example than the Olympic athletes, as they gather in Rio with their strength and fearlessness, to remind us how we ALL can come together, with the resolve to be the best we can be," she said. "I hope this song can inspire us to heal, unite, and rise together. I am honored that NBC Olympics has chosen to use it as an anthem before and during the Rio Games." 2.      The aim of the song Katy Perry was sung
·         Motivating us to overcome, do something extraordinary and not give up easily.
·         Asking us to be ready to do everything whatever the risk.
·         Asking us to always be confident.
·         Encouraging us to continue to live life.
·         Teaches us about respecting ourselves and acknowledging and encouraging our own strength to achieve and overcome.
·         Teach us to overcome all fear.

3.      Moral messages in the song
·         We must belive in ourself.
·         We must raise up even in difficult circumstances.
